Drawing upon thousands of hours of supervision, residency, and clinical training focused on marriage and family systems, Dr. Spaine has built a thriving practice helping Northwest Arkansas build stronger, more lasting relationships.

Dr. Spaine assists couples and individuals in dealing with complex relationship issues ranging from extramarital affairs, parenting conflicts, loss of intimacy, in-laws, relationship boredom, and sexual difficulties.

His work with individuals includes therapy for recovery from the pain and loss of divorce and work with those who have had repeated difficulties selecting appropriate partners and maintaining healthy relationships. In addition to helping individuals improve their relationships, Dr. Spaine works extensively with individuals using a family systems and psychodynamic approach in the treatment of mood and personality disorders, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and others.

Since he founded his practice in Northwest Arkansas in 2000, Dr. Spaine has helped thousands of couples and individuals understand the underlying issues that were holding back their relationships, learn new skills, and build more fulfilling, passionate, and satisfying lives.

As a former Episcopal clergyperson, an educator, and in private practice, Dr. Spaine has spent over 30 years working with those interested in personal and relational growth. Dr. Spaine's practice integrates depth psychotherapy, a family systems orientation, and cognitive-behavioral therapy to facilitate healing and psycho-spiritual growth.

Dr. Spaine speaks frequently to community groups and the media regarding issues related to relationships, mental health, and psychology. Dr. Spaine resides in Fayetteville with his wife.
